Scenario of Water Sensitive Urban Design for Cimahi City, Indonesia

Abstract Cimahi City as a part of the Upper Citarum Sub-Watershed has problems with flooding, land subsidence, and clean water crisis caused by urban development. Currently, multidisciplinary approach to management been expanded include hydrological cycle in it; one concepts that developed is water-sensitive design (WSUD). The purpose this study measure changes surface runoff result infiltration processes cycle, calculate planned flood volume, determine potential location area five WSUD elements, formulate capability scenarios City. This uses algebraic average, soil conservation service curve figures (SCS-CN), log-Pearson-III distribution, geospatial analysis. Based on results SCS-CN method 3 time spans (2013, 2016, 2019), there was an increase CN index decrease value drift (S) reflected for produced. However, at next stage analysis, showed runoff; due decreased rainfall from 2013 then 2016 2019 analysis resulted elements Furthermore, after testing effectiveness formulating scenario, three were obtained scenario study, namely sediment basin, retarding basin with, stormwater harvesting. Last, measurement shows reduces volume 84%.
